Vision of Social Responsibility

Ever since it was created, the business philosophy of GRUMA has consisted of developing different lines of action, such as reinvesting earnings, continually expanding the company, creating quality jobs, paying fair salaries, favoring the training and advancement of employees, and implementing environmentally-friendly processes.

At GRUMA we have sought to grow within a framework of strict compliance with environmental regulations and we have worked to improve processes in all of our plants.

Through the years we have earned various distinctions, including certification as a Socially Responsible Company from the Centro Mexicano para la Filantropía (the Mexican Center for Philanthropy, or CEMEFI), which positions GRUMA amongst investors, clients, competitors, and society in general as a company firmly committed, beyond its productive activities, to responsible, ethical, socially-aware, and environmentally-friendly relations with the community.
